Meet your climbing guide, who will provide you with an introduction to the area, its history, and its geology.

Sport Climbing Session:
Begin your sport climbing adventure on one of Wadi Rum’s famous cliffs. Depending on your experience level, your guide will choose an appropriate route. You’ll enjoy climbing on high-quality rock with panoramic desert views.
Enjoy multiple routes throughout the day, with opportunities for rest and photos in between.
Lunch in the Desert:
After a morning of climbing, you will take a break and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the desert (vegetarian options are available).
Relax, soak in the stunning desert scenery, and learn more about Bedouin culture.
Continue Climbing or Explore the Desert:
After lunch, you’ll either resume your climbing session or explore more of the desert via Jeep, depending on your energy levels and preferences. If you choose to continue climbing we will switch location to remain in the shade.
Option to take a short hike to one of the desert’s stunning viewpoints or visit famous landmarks like the Lawrence’s Spring, Burdah Rock Bridge, or the Mushroom Rock.
Sunset Viewing & Photos:
As the day winds down, take a break to watch the desert landscape change colors as the sun begins to set.
Take photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Wadi Rum as the temperatures cool.

Head back to Wadi Rum Village by Jeep.

This one-day tour will take you up this legendary route, giving you an unforgettable adventure with a mix of climbing, desert exploration, and jaw-dropping scenery. You’ll be guided by an experienced local guide, with all necessary climbing gear provided.
Who Can Join?
Crazy Camel is a challenging multipitch route requiring solid climbing experience, especially in crack and face climbing. It is recommended for climbers with at least intermediate-level skills.

Arrival in Wadi Rum & Briefing:
Arrive in Wadi Rum and meet your climbing guide, who will provide a safety briefing and overview of the Crazy Camel route.
Quick gear check to ensure everything is in place: harnesses, ropes, helmets, climbing shoes, and any additional gear.
The Crazy Camel route is situated on the Jebel M'zeygeh formation in Wadi Rum.
Climbing the Crazy Camel:
Route Overview:
• Difficulty: Grades range from 6a+ to 6b+ (approximately 5.10a to 5.10d in YDS).
• Length: Approximately 100 meters spread over 4 pitches.
• Protection: Fully bolted sport route.
• Descent: Rappel (abseil) the same route in four stages.
Pitch Breakdown:
Pitch 1: 6a+, 25 meters, 10 bolts.
• Begins with technical moves on solid rock, setting the tone for the climb.
Pitch 2: 6b+, 25 meters, 9 bolts.
• Features a well-protected crux that can be divided into two segments:
• First segment: 15 meters, 6b, 5 bolts.
• Second segment: 10 meters, 6b+, 4 bolts.
• A belay station is positioned just before the crux, approximately 40 meters from the ground.
Pitch 3: 6a, 25 meters, 9 bolts.
• Offers an airy feel with some spaced bolting due to rock quality considerations.
Pitch 4: 5c+, 25 meters, 9 bolts.
• Concludes with a slab climb leading to the top.
While the route doesn't reach the absolute summit, it is possible to traverse approximately 5 meters to the right from the final station and, with the aid of a few cams, ascend an additional 15 meters to the peak.
Equipment Recommendations:
Quickdraws: A total of 12, with 5-4 being longer to accommodate varied bolt placements.
Rope: A single 60-meter rope is sufficient.
Additional Gear: If aiming for the true summit, carry a small selection of cams for the final unbolted section.

Orange Sunshine is a notable climbing route on the East Face of Jebel Burdah in Wadi Rum, Jordan. This route offers climbers a blend of moderate technical challenges and breathtaking desert vistas, and the unique experience of traversing a natural rock arch.

Orange Sunshine is a thrilling challenge for intermediate to advanced trad climbers seeking a new adventure in Wadi Rum.
Itinerary:
Arrival in Wadi Rum & Briefing:
Arrive in Wadi Rum and meet your climbing guide, who will provide a safety briefing and overview of the Orange Sunshine route.
Quick gear check to ensure everything is in place: harnesses, ropes, helmets, climbing shoes, and any additional gear.
Climbing Orange Sunshine:
Route Overview:
• Length: Approximately 300 meters
• Pitches: 8 to 10
• Grade: French 5 (equivalent to HVS 5a or YDS 5.9)
• Climbing Type: Traditional multi-pitch
• Approach: Transportation by Jeep to the base of Jebel Burdah. The approach involves a hike leading to the prominent East Face, easily identifiable by its vast expanse of slabs. The route starts near an obvious left-leaning stair-step feature.
Pitch Breakdown:
• Pitch 1: Climb the tiered, left-leaning steps for about 30-40 meters to a comfortable stance. (5.7)
• Pitch 2: Continue straight up using cracks and slabs to another clear stance. (5.6, 40m)
• Pitch 3: Ascend directly, encountering a 5.8 slab move to the left. Belay from natural threads. (5.8, 60m)
• Pitch 4: Climb up to just below the steep headwall, belaying in a sheltered alcove. (60m)
• Pitch 5: Traverse right from the belay, clipping two pitons through the vertical crux. After overcoming the steep section, move left, utilizing ample natural threads for protection. (5.9, 30m)
• Pitches 6 & 7: Navigate easier slab terrain, with each pitch extending up to 60 meters.
• Pitch 8: A short 15-meter climb leads to a scree field, marking the end of the technical climbing.
Descent:
From the top of the route, it's recommended to continue for about 30 minutes to reach the summit, which offers spectacular views. The descent follows the popular north ridge, a straightforward path that includes crossing the iconic Burdah Rock Bridge.

The Haj Route is one of the most rewarding multi-pitch climbs in Wadi Rum, Jordan, ascending the stunning east face of Jebel Rum (1,734m). This route offers challenging crack systems, exposed slabs, and breathtaking summit views.
Who Can Join?
It is ideal for experienced climbers looking for an adventurous, full-day ascent.
Route Details:
Difficulty: 5.10 (French 6b)
Length: ~350m (8–10 pitches)
Climbing Type: Traditional multi-pitch
Time Required: 8–10 hours round trip
Required Skills: Crack climbing, chimney climbing, route finding, and rappelling
Recommended Gear: Full trad rack, 60m rope, slings for natural anchors
Itinerary:
Early start from Wadi Rum Village. We will arrange to meet you and drive to the base of the route.
06:30 – Approach to the Base.
Hike through the canyon leading to the start of The Haj Route.
The approach involves some scrambling and light bouldering.
The first pitch starts in a crack system at the bottom of the east face.

Pitch Breakdown:
• 5.7 (IV+) – Easy crack climbing leading to a ledge.
• 5.8 (V) – A long slab with a crack for protection.
• 5.9 (V+) – A steeper section leading into a chimney squeeze.
